Advanced Design & Material Specifications

A deep look at our motors' core structural components, engineered for maximum durability and thermal control.

Industrial Rotor Construction

Rotor

Our squirrel-cage rotors feature centrifugal cast aluminum or advanced copper bar construction. Pure molten aluminum is poured using centrifugal or high-pressure die casting to ensure slot integrity. For high-output applications, dynamically balanced copper bars are joined using automated induction brazing. High-speed models include protective retaining rings to prevent centripetal deformation.

Stator Winding Insulation

Stator

Coils are wound with high-purity enameled copper wire insulated with polyester film and high-mica-content tape. Following stator assembly, the winding undergoes Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) using solventless epoxy resin. This process eliminates internal air bubbles, providing excellent dielectric strength, moisture proofing, and thermal endurance (Class F/H).

Motor Cast Iron Frame

Frame

Constructed from high-tensile gray cast iron or structural steel, our motor frames are designed using multi-physics finite element analysis (FEA). This maximizes cooling fin surface area while maintaining mechanical stiffness to isolate vibrations, withstand heavy shock loads, and keep alignments secure.

Acoustic Fan Hood

Low Noise Fan Hood System

Comprising a lightweight acoustic hood, airflow guide cylinder, and integrated silencer plate. The side-entry air design minimizes pressure drops and flow turbulence. By lining the interior with sound-damping materials and maintaining an IP22/IP23 rating, we protect operators while maintaining high heat dissipation rates.

Global Purchasing & Technical FAQ

Direct technical answers addressing queries from design engineers, procurement heads, and quality managers.

IM B3 is the standard designation for a foot-mounted motor where the machine stands on feet integrated with or bolted to the frame. IM B5 designates a flange-mounted motor without feet, where the motor is supported by the driving flange. IM B35 combines both mounting types, featuring feet and a drive-end flange, which is ideal for high-vibration applications requiring additional support.

Our explosion-proof motors (such as the YBXKK, YBBPX, and WEX3 series) undergo certification testing in approved laboratories. Compliance is maintained through tight flameproof joint tolerances, rugged housing designs that contain internal pressure, thermal insulation protections, and regular quality audits of our production plants by European notified bodies.

We offer customizations for challenging environments, including Class H winding insulation, anticondensation space heaters, PT100 temperature sensors, insulated bearings to protect against VFD-induced currents, IP56/IP66 enclosure ratings, corrosion-resistant paints, and special shaft extensions.

Marine installations require type-approval certificates from international classification societies. Our YQ marine-duty motors carry DNV, ABS, or BV approvals, validating their resistance to salt spray corrosion, high humidity, and structural tilt.

Lead times vary depending on frame sizes and customizations. Standard low-voltage high-efficiency motors (such as the WE3 and YE4 series) are typically stocked or shipped within 4 to 6 weeks. Customized high-voltage induction or non-sparking motors (like the YWKK/YWKS series) require between 12 to 16 weeks to allow for detailed engineering review and testing.
