The rotor features a rugged squirrel-cage design. Low-voltage variants employ centrifugal cast aluminum or die-cast pure aluminum structures, integrating the rotor bars and end rings into a solid, cohesive unit. This robust construction provides high mechanical strength and reliable torque characteristics.
For larger, heavy-duty applications, copper bar rotors are used. The copper bars are secured into the rotor slots and joined to the end rings using advanced welding procedures. High-speed models are fitted with protective retaining rings to prevent component deformation under centripetal stress.
Stator coils are wrapped with polyester film and glass-reinforced mica tape to ensure robust dielectric strength. The wound stator core undergoes a complete Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) cycle with high-grade solventless resin.
This VPI process eliminates internal air pockets, creating a moisture-resistant, structurally solid core. This helps protect the windings against physical vibration, thermal cycling, and corrosive chemical atmospheres.
The motor frames are designed using multi-physics simulation software, optimizing structural rigidity and heat dissipation pathways. Cast in high-strength grey iron or fabricated from heavy-gauge structural steel, these frames protect the internal stator assembly.
The robust housing design offers excellent vibration damping, helps maintain internal alignment, and prevents mechanical distortion under high torsional loads.
The low-noise ventilation system consists of an engineered fan cover, air guide cylinder, protective inlet screen, and sound-absorbing baffles. The side-entry air design reduces flow resistance and limits acoustic output.
