Our rotors feature high-grade squirrel-cage designs. For smaller and medium capacities, centrifugal cast aluminum or die-cast aluminum is used, casting the rotor bars and end rings into a single, durable piece. This design provides high structural strength and reliable starting torque.
For larger high-voltage applications, we use hand-inserted copper bar rotors. The copper bars are securely fitted into the slots and joined to the end rings using high-frequency induction brazing. High-speed models also include high-strength non-magnetic retaining rings to keep the rotor stable under high centrifugal force.
The stator windings are insulated using high-grade polyester film, glass cloth, and high-purity mica tape. After winding, the entire stator core goes through the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) process with Class H solventless resin, followed by oven curing.
The VPI process removes air voids and moisture from the insulation system. This results in a solid winding block with high electrical resistance, structural stability, excellent heat transfer, and long-lasting protection against moisture and chemical corrosion.
